If you liked Medium's editor, then you will love Ghost's editor, far better for writing, including links, bookmarks, snippets etc.
Been using Bear since they started, fast, easy to type, use tagging, and yes the next version is a better take on markdown!
Have you ever thought of switching over to Ghost? We have two blogs running on that and with Ghost 4.0 - its amazing upgrade.
I only use Medium for short rants or commenting longer than 280 characters.
Always felt this was a place where Apple could have one.
Next contender could have been Audible → Audio Books + Podcasts + Music + Radio.
Amazon could have clubbed Amazon Prime Music into this.
And here lies the problem, you're still measuring its value in US$.
So it will go to $100,000 - then what? Will you sell, will you buy stuff? What happens after you spend your bitcoin? Or what if after that it went to $1,000,000 - would you have spenders remorse?
Those are not hypothetical questions, just questions that will get you in the right direction when it comes to this new technology.
From the rubbles of the dot com bust, good things were left behind that have improved our lives. This will be the same.
